On the Velika Gospojina (Dormition of Virgin Mary) celebration days (28th August), everyone can find something entertaining: events at the horse show, fish stew cooking, folklore ensembles’ concerts, Ethno market or attractive pop concerts.
The events take place in the luring atmosphere of the beautiful Tisa quay, in the Culture Hall, Library, at the summer stage, in the yard of an old monastery or at several other locations by the river.
The hotel has got two stars. It si placed in the centre of Novi Becej, at the very bank of the Tisa River. The hotel has got a capacity of 80 beds, in single, double and triple rooms and suites. There is a telephone, a TV-set and an air – conditioner in each room.
We organize various celebrations in our hotel all year long. From New Year’s Eve parties, graceful balls, celebrations of March 8th (Women’s Day), hunters’ evenings, craftsmen’s evenings, to engagement and wedding parties.
Due to the exceptional geographical position of Becej and excellent conditions for teaching in natural environment, our hotel is well-prepared to accommodate all kinds of excursions.
Furthermore, the bus station and a modern shopping centre are not far away from the hotel.
The city, being at he same time the municipality centre, is situated in the central part of the Vojvodina region. In historical sources, Becej was firstly mentioned in the period between 1332 and 1337. In the first half of the 15th century, Novi Becej was under the rule of Serbian despots. The Serbian orthodox church was built in 1742. In the second half of the 18th century, the Hungarians began to settle here. Because of the diversity of ethnic and religious groups, there are altogether fifteen churches on the territory of Novi Becej municipality, all of which in only for populated towns
