Slano Kopovo
Slano Kopovo is one of a few untouched ponds in this area and it is situated 5-6 kilometres east from Novi Becej. Here is not only the water salty, but the soil, too, so that only a few plant species can survive. Numerous bird species and rare plant life are some of the reasons why Slano Kopovo became a special natural reserve in 2001.
Biserno ostrvo is in the natural environment of a Tisa inlet, also known as the “dead Tisa”. The Krokan wine from Biserno ostrvo is highly appreciated at dining tables of diplomats and jet-setters. This wine can hardly be found in regular shops and its price can reach even 20€ per litre.
